But just as he was about to fire, a young survivor named Ava spoke up. "Wait!" she whispered urgently. "I think I know what this snake is." The group was stunned

The group turned to her, curious. Ava explained that she had been studying the island's ecosystem, and had come across an ancient text that mentioned a legendary snake: the "Ark After Dark" snake, a creature said to roam the island only at night, and to possess an otherworldly power.
